With a solid 12 months under our belt here at The Green Soccer Journal we are now entering a new era in 2012, with two of the worlds biggest sporting events on the horizon.
For 2012 Nike athletes have pledged their own goals for the year ahead and the #makeitcount campaign asks us all what we want to achieve this year.
Last night saw the opening of the #makeitcount exhibition at the 1948 store in Shoreditch, where we managed to catch up with a few old friends and meet some of the new team over at Nike. The mix of classic portraits with the big social media push (lots of hash tags) is a great idea and there was even the chance to create your own personalised campaign.
Amongst the portraits were Rio Ferdinand and Jack Wilshere, who are both looking forward to a big 2012 after a injury riddled 2011.
If you're in need of some post christmas inspiration you can see the exhibition until the 22nd February here
